Korea Official day 1 [technically day 2 but shh]

Woke up and man did it feel good to have slept in a bed. [last time I’d attempted sleep had been in about 12 awkward positions on the plane lemme tell you AWKWARRRRD] And of course there was the fact that

WE IN KOREA!!!!

Since we were both tired and not up for a crap ton of adventure we at first decided to treck around the immediate area and just see what was near. Is that what we really did? HAHA nope.

We ended up going around the subway and ended up in another part of Sinchon where we got food and shopped. Shot of the street near our Hostel.

 

Before we went shopping we stopped to get food at a random small restaurant and it was lovely and most of all CHEAP! For the Bibibimbap and dumplings it was 8500 won aka $8.50

After that we headed to the subway

Next up was the shopping. We mainly wandered in the Ewha area for a bit and then we went to Myeongdong to try to find the SM pop up store. I didn’t get pictures there except for this one

but we did find a kpop shop that was AMAZING and we are so going back! One of my favorite things about shopping areas and the street are all the cut outs of Kpop idols for losers like myself to pose with haaha

In the Ewha area we stopped into a cat cafe for a bit and it was cute!! Took a bit to get used to the smell [ay I’m being honest u_u] but after that it was amusing seeing the cats and how much attention they crave. This little one stayed at our table [because we’re fabulous] 

And across the street, an A-MA-ZING place that served Churros

We shopped there for a bit before heading back to the hostel and then out for food. Like lunch we go a hella cheap meal. Two meats, soup and salad [ish] For about 14000 won aka $14  It was hella good!

  Hellllla Huge JYJ advertisement for their new album -sniff sniff- My babies are so perfect!  And we laughed at how all the foreigners are near a coffee and donut place, like legit they were all grouped  there like flies!

Annnnnnd this is what I managed to score while shopping

This sweater is so cute and comfy!!

Had to get something with stars on it >w< And its sooo soft! 

From Etude house I picked up 3 colored eyeliners, some hand cream [winter is coming and i need it! ] 2 new lipstick colors and an under eye creme. Best thing was it was almost all 30-50% off 😀

Next up was artbox, a super cute store that sells everything from homegoods to stationary.  I got an umbrella because it decided to rain that day, a note book and pens and some peter pan post cards from one of my favorite Korean illustrators that are so cute it hurts!

Next up and last was my kpop haul! I got the BTS x Cecce Magazine set that came with the bracelet, A Hyesung concert I’ve been eyeing for months, the Mirotic and Hug album from my babes <3, Shinhwas latest concert, a Jaejoong mug and alllssssssso THE SHINHWA SPECIAL [cough cough] PHOTO BOOK! At the store where I got most of these items the Ajjussi seemed to be highly amused by Giselle and I and before we left he gave us each about 4 or 5 posters ❤ well worth everything!

All in all it was a good technical first day and yeah, SO MUCH FUN!

We got back to the hostel and Giselle and I are talking when she lays down for less than a minute and falls asleep in less than two seconds. I couldn’t stop laughing.
